Re: National Rocket Inspired

Steve, just a little tip here , if you plane and shape that wood then let it set in the bright sun for a week or so you might find that it ll be warped , just something to consider . Re: Starting Places for build.

audiokat - (what's yer name?) My best suggestion is not to go about this thing piecemeal - a dozen responses to your questions with decisions to be made - but to get in firm contact with Bent Romnes on this Forum. My reasoning is quite simple: - Bent has built some fine instruments in the "traditio...

Re: Aluminum Angle

Hi Audiokat. Where are you at? It's best if you can shop for your aluminum - angle or otherwise- at a metal dealer ..online would be for example http://www.speedymetals.com/ and http://www.onlinemetals.com/ or look for a local metals dealer. Last resort would be places like Metal Supermarket. They ...

National Lap Steel

Does anyone by chance on this board have one of these National's? I'm thinking I want to build my body after this and would love to get some measurements.

Aluminum Angle

What sources is everyone finding Aluminum angle at? Is this a HD or Lowes thing? Also is a reason everyone is using aluminum and not steel?
