I noticed your post on the forum.

You are not to far away from The Netherlands and after doing some research I found that they have stacks of a lumber that is called "Esdoorn" A translation will show you that it is the same as maple. Hope this helps

You can even get them at a welding shop but like Bent said.....use stainless.

size of the changer hole

Can someone on here maybe tell me how big the changer hole is of a 10 string all pull changer?

My changer fingers are made out of 1/4 X 3/4 aluminum and the actuators are 16gauge metal. I like to know the measurements of the hole before I start to cut the hole.
I hope someone can help me here.

Hi guys, I have been watching pictures of the Zum and BenRom undercarriages and I am wondering how the cross rods are mounted on the rear apron. I noticed that Zum and BenRom use an aluminum strip on the back for some reason. I assume that that caps off the rods but I am not sure. I am building a D1...
