If that stand is closed, I suggest you fix it up and fill it completely with fine sand and let the mill vibrate it compact. Will take up earthquakes and sure hold the mill steady. Besides, it will be easy to lighten up if you want to move it... That's a pretty good idea Georg. Might see if I can ge...

Bent, it came with a stand but it's not too rigid in my opinion... It's one of those sheet metal stands with a little door on one side. I'm thinking about building something a little more beefy. Got it home today... The mill is is really good shape and wasn't abused. It has a three phase motor so I either need a phase converter to try it out. We have a mill exactly like this one at the shop i work at that has a single phase motor. I will talk to the boss and see if he would want to swap mot...

Found this on Craigslist for $400... Going pick it up tomorrow. I'll post better pictures of it tomorrow when I get it home.
