Re: Ten String Gibson EH-150 Project

Looks really good Chum. To bad the site does not have the action it had a few years ago. This was a real happening place for builders. I 've been following your build and I love it. Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Re: Best possible changer

Hi and welcome to the site! If you search the threads in the pedal guitar section I am sure you will find what you are looking for. I think the first page has what you are seeking. There are various changer designs here as you search. When I joined the site I had no clew about pedal or lap steels and...

Re: Building No 4

Hi Maxi, Do you use nylon washers between the raise and lower at the pivot point to compensate for the rivet holding the bearing? Hey your build is looking good. Why don't you show us the final product? I am just now cleaning up all my changer parts with the final grinding and sanding before I polis...

Re: 6 banger

Hey Russ,

That's a cute little guitar. Nothin to laugh at as there is just about as much work involved as a full sized one. I've been thinking about an 8 string a little further down the line. I'd like to see more photos if you don't mind.

Re: PSG#1 From Scratch

Hey There Bent,

Been a while since I heard from you. Sure hope all is well. Thanks for chiming in and for your kind comment. It feels good to get back to building as I've had a few issues that had kept me away from it and I'm still going kinda slow. Keep in touch.

Re: PSG#1 From Scratch

Hi, I purchased the bearings from a company in Texas called Avid. They sell parts for RC cars. Canada Bearings wanted $5.68 Cnd. The ones I got at Avid were $1.00 US each and $11.50 US shipping. I ordered 15 pieces and it cost me a total of about $33.50 Cnd. Here is a link to the bearings on the Avi...

Re: Building No 4

Hey Ron,

How about a closeup of your changer! Did you change your design a bit. The lower portion looks wider, but it could just be the angle of the picture.

Ross,

Go to your post, scroll down to the bottom of the original post, look for edit, click then scroll to image and delete the one you want to remove. Hope that helped.
