I too prefer the stainless steel strings as they do sound brighter over the nickel ones and they don't corrode as quickly. I posted a comment on you tube, I'm bulit 1.

ACE PAT, JUST ACE! Is your changer cam diameter 3/4" or 1"? it looks nearer to 1" to me from the photos. I would say that if it is 1" this is good, as you will have less string breakage, because the string is not bent on such a tight curve as a standard 3/4" changer cam. I have found this to be true...

Hi Ryan, Pat is spot on the money with his reply, depending on the design you WILL get some of the the pull rods binding or clashing with the bell cranks/pull bars, do try if possible, not to have bent or crancked pull rods as they may flex slightly thus causing tuning problems.
