Bearings on the changer axle will kill sustain.

Stay away from any cast parts, you will probably need to have them machined so, the end cost is a wash..B

Two styles, one is a linkage, the other a direct "push" if you will, I've seen a bearing on the bottom to make it easier to operate. We put a variation of the top one with a linkage setup. Bill

Alex, There were a lot of folks looking at this thread, maybe a lot of them looked. I personally think you did an awesome build, maybe a little overkill but definitely one of a kind, love the color, also would like to be able to see in person, and maybe try to play a little on it.

Let's bring this to the top for a while. You folks mention using 7/64 welding rod. Where the heck do you find it. I've tried my local welding supply stores and all the carry is 3/32 and 1/8. They don't carry 7/64 in any type of material much less stainless. Thanks for you help and information. Lave...
