Really having pedal problems. Should pedal 1 & 2 travel the same distance? Should they be the same height when they not engaged?

I need to replace one Rod. I think it's about 42mm Diam. Any ideas who would have such stock. Thanks

My First and last .......... now if I could only play one tune..... All the movement was hand crafted using only my wood tools. Still having trouble with the tension on the LKL knee, it's too strong and keeps bending the rod.
