Hi! I'm a retired machinist of 43 years in the trade, and have a metal lathe and small Bridgeport type mill, at home.Turning the ends of a square shaft, is very simple. Of course, a 4 jaw lathe chuck is the simple solution, but if you only have a 3 jaw chuck, here's a easy solution, that works great...
