Double lowers on a pull-release

Hi guys...and gals!
Haven't been on here at all for several years! Anyway I was just wondering if anybody
had any ideas on the mechanics of making a double lower on a pull-release changer.

all-pull changer dimensions

Hi....
Does anybody have a JPG or similar of the dimensions of the parts of a regular all-pull changer finger assembly?
I have it somewhere but can't seem to find it

Mac

Re: tool for securing brads

What are we talking about here? Are these the pins that hold the string ends?

Re: Split screws

Likewise, where you both lower and raise a string, Example, the 5th. You raise the string on A ped, a whole tone, and lower it a half tone say with the vertical lever. Theoretically if you hit both the Aped and VKL, the resultant note should be a C. On some guitars it works out fine, on others it d...

I know about the extra pull rod idea etc. but what about the "split screw" idea. My concept of this is if you have an adjustment screw you can screw in...

Profit margins?

I was undecided whether I should ever bring up this subject but.....here goes anyway. Now we all know that building a pedal steel is a "labour of love" so to speak, but if you don't make just a bit of money in the exercise by selling them why would you do it. I've built a few (18) and the actual out...

Re: Hum reducing pickup

I guess it's always a combination of all the parts.....body, changer, nut, strings, pickup etc. that makes one guitar sound diff...

Hum reducing pickup

Awhile ago I mentioned in another post that I was making a single coil shielded pickup in a slightly different way. I mentioned that I have a lot of rectangular aluminum tubing that I use whenever I can for parts construction. The couple of pictures attached show my best effort to date with a REALLY...
